OKOK, this post is about two of my new year resolutions (NYR) ...yalah, i have many resolutions... ambicious ppl is like that one...
First one, tennis, why i choose tennis as my NYR? because it is a atas game so it suites me, LOL. Last tue, I finally picked up the racquet again after > 5yrs didn't touch it. The last time I was playing tennis was attending tennis' BEGINNER class in MMU using rented racquet (50cents per use, CHEAP......). Apparently, I have forgotten all I have learned about tennis, and I think Cheong Siak is so sien to play with me... coz all the balls that he hit, never return after that... Hmm, I really hope that I won't give up on tennis and really train it up to become a play-able sport for me.... I already gave up a few like basketball, footbal, futsal... all because i am really SUCKS playing them, haha... I really hope this one work for me... really... I want to buy myself a racquet to 'force' myself keep playing tennis, but it is so BLOODY EXPENSIVE!!!
Second one, sponsor a child, this has been my thought since 2007 i guess, but i never really take any serious action. Finally, yesterday, I register myself at http://www.worldvision.com.my/ to become a sponsor... haha, I choose to sponsor a Mongolian kid... the website mentions that we can select the gender of the kid but we (ya... Vsoon also sponsored one) couldn't find that field when we registered...but i am hoping that i will get a son, haha, typical chinese...
Besides sponsor a child, you can choose to buy some pre-chosen gifts for the children in some rural area, such as cows and baby goats for Thailand, food for North Korea, library books for Lebanon etc, you can check for more information at the website.
